The Mystical Alphabet of Christ is an ancient but powerful tool to foster love for the Sacred Heart of Jesus in childhood.
Prepared at the end of the 19th century by the Mexican priest Gabino Chávez, it has been compiled in the ACI Prensa Catholic Encyclopedia.
José Gálvez Krüger, director of the Catholic Encyclopedia, stressed that it is a “beautiful, easy-to-read work”, with which one can initiate “devotion to the Heart of Jesus in children”.
This training, he stressed, “must progress in maturity as it grows in age.”
The Mystical Alphabet of Christ collects each letter and gives it a special message. Thus, the “A” addresses that the Sacred Heart of Jesus is “faithful advocate, inexhaustible ark, tree of life.”
In the letter “J” we find that Jesus is “Just Judge”, while in the “T” we read that he is “Priceless Treasure”.
