The feast of the Virgin of Fátima is one of the best-known Marian celebrations of the y It is celebrated every May 13.
On that date, the first apparition of the Virgin is remembered, in 1917 on the hills of Cova de Iría (Portugal), to three little shepherds, Lucía dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto.
Sister Lucia is in the process of beatification, while Saint Francis and Saint Jacinta Marto were canonized by Pope Francis on May 13, 2017, 100 years after the first apparitions.
