To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the canonization of Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin, seer of Our Lady of Guadalupe, at a Mass presided over by Saint John Paul II, a special free congress will be held in the atrium of the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City .
The congress is entitled “Two Great Saints at Tepeyac”, will be held from Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31, and can be accessed both in person and through the Facebook page and the YouTube channel of the Higher Institute of Guadalupanos Studies. (ISEG).

In dialogue with ACI Prensa, Fr. Eduardo Chávez, director of the ISEG and postulator of the cause of canonization of Saint Juan Diego, invited all the faithful Catholics and devotees of the Virgin of Guadalupe and her seer to live “this historical moment and transcendental”.
“We are very happy to offer this congress,” said Father Chavez, considered one of the greatest experts on the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
“Entrance is totally free, so invite your family and friends,” he said.
After recalling that on July 31, 2002, Saint John Paul II canonized Saint Juan Diego in the Basilica of Guadalupe, the Mexican priest indicated that on Friday, July 29, the congress will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Central Mexico time).
On Saturday, July 30, the congress will begin at 10:00 am and will last until 7:00 pm
On July 31, the event will conclude with the celebration of Holy Mass at 12 noon.
Fr. Chávez explained that the first two days of the congress will be held “in Plaza Mariana, here in the atrium of the Basilica of Guadalupe.”
