Antony Starr stars in a rough event in Alicante. According to Information, and confirmed by Europa Press, the actor has been arrested in Alicante for allegedly assaulting a 21-year-old man in a pub on Castaños Street, while under the influence of alcohol. The Australian, who plays Patriota in ‘The Boys’, punched the victim twice and broke a glass in his face.
The attack took place on Wednesday, March 2, around 2:30 in the morning. The victim recounts that he was with some friends at the bar and next to him there was a man “who was falling from how drunk he was.” As he kept falling towards his side, the young man asked Antony Starr’s friend who was with him to calm him down, but Starr started to push him. Bathuel, the affected one, resisted but ended up responding and that is when the actor hit him. When he got free he went to the bathroom to wash up and the bouncers kicked Starr out of the room. The complainant says that when they left the bar he was still waiting for him and they got into a fight again until the police arrived. The victim was taken to hospital. When the police told him who had hit him, he thought it was a joke.
Guy Ritchie’s new movie
Antony Starr is in Alicante for the filming of ‘The Interpreter’, the new Guy Ritchie film in which Jake Gyllenhaal, Alexander Ludwig and Emily Beecham also participate. The Australian has spent the night in the police cell and has given a statement. He will soon be brought to justice.
In addition to filming the Guy Ritchie movie, Starr returns as a Patriot, this time in an animated version, on March 4 in ‘The Boys Presents: Diabolical’, the spin-off of the Amazon Prime Video series. ‘The Boys’ will return with its third season on June 3, also with the actor in the main cast.
