Open endings are good, as viewers can see the end how they want to. But they’re torturous for people who want more. After that crazy ending of Season 2, Sky Rojo fans are wondering if there will be another season. We’ve got you covered.
Let’s Recap
Sky Rojo is an action-packed drama series with all the guns one can handle. The show revolves around three women in the business of prostitution – Coral, Gina, and Wendy, as they try to escape their troubled lives, and a pimp named Romeo and his henchmen – Christian and Moises, who’d stop at nothing to catch them. Season 2 was an unexpected turn of tables as the women gained an upper hand and the power equation shifted.
Expected Release Date and Cast
Season 3 hasn’t yet been confirmed by Netflix. The season 2 finale aired recently and there’s still time before Netflix reviews the viewership records and decides if they would renew the show for another season. However, on the note that Season 2 ended, a sequel isn’t entirely out of the question.

If there will be another season, Veronica Sanchez (Coral), Yanis Prado (Gina), and Lali Esposito (Wendy) will reprise their roles. Asier Etxeandia (Romeo) and Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Moises) will be back. Following his death in Season 2, Christian (played by Enric Auquer) might not return. There could be new introductions too.
Expected Plot
Season 2 ended with Christian dying and Moises, now alone, going back to Romeo. Moises and Romeo are reunited with a mutual interest – the death of the three women. Moises said, “We lost the battle, but not the war”, meaning things are only going to get tougher for the trio now.

It all comes down to Netflix if they choose to keep the show with an open ending, or complete the storylines by Moises and Romeo getting out to hunt the women down.
Synopsis
A show is often only as good as the viewership records it reflects. It’s all business and if the sequel appears to be a good investment with potential returns, it will be renewed soon enough.
