SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO – After solving a murder in “Murder on the Orient Express” (2017), cunning detective Hercule Poirot returns to the big screen with “Death on the Nile,” the latest film interpretation of the novels. classic thriller by British author Agatha Christie.

Based on the 1937 novel, "Death on the Nile" is a riveting thriller directed by Kenneth Branagh about the emotional chaos and deadly consequences of obsessive love affairs. Detective Hercule Poirot's Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous ship turns into a terrifying hunt for a murderer when a perfect couple's honeymoon is tragically interrupted.

"Death on the Nile" again stars Kenneth Branagh ( Thor, Harry Potter ) as the iconic detective Hercule Poirot. Branagh is joined by Tom Bateman, multiple Oscar winner Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot ( Wonder Woman, Justice League ), Armie Hammer ( The Man from UNCLE, The Lone Ranger ), Rose Leslie ( Game of Thrones ), Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright ( Black Panther ). It also brings together the filmmaking team behind the success of "Murder on the Orient Express," including writer Michael Green and producers Ridley Scott, Kenneth Branagh and other notable executive producers.
