AMC aired The Walking Dead on October 31, 2010. The tenth season of The Walking Dead came out last year on October 6, 2019. And the makers have confirmed there will be another season which was earlier planned to release in 2020. The previous season was based on several months after the community fair massacre. And the united forces plan to fight against the Whisperers in order to finish their threat.
Renewal Status of Walking Dead Season 11
The season 11 of The Walking Dead was planned to release in October 2020. But the makers postponed the release to fall 2021 as shooting has been postponed to next year. The season 10 finale was planned to release in April but due to the coronavirus outbreak, it got postponed. It will air on October 4. Moreover, the network has confirmed more six episodes. So, there will be 22 episodes this season which is more than the normal previous seasons. It will release somewhere around early 2021.

It is very difficult to predict who will survive in The Walking Dead as they are in a Zombie Apocalypse. But one role which will definitely return is fan favourite, Lauran Cohan. However, Danai Gurira and Cooper Andrews will not return for the renewal. We can expect several new faces in the mix. The excitement surrounding Walking Dead has been since it first came.
