Sneak Peek into the Past 

Netflix announced a British romantic thriller film, Rebecca. The movie is based on a 1938 Gothic novel. It revolves around a newly wedded couple, De Winter’s. The story takes a mysterious turn when the newly wedded wife of Maixm De winter is haunted by his dead first wife. His first wife died mysteriously. This genre has a huge critical fanbase, so it is important how the story goes forward. There are a lot of elements to look for in a thriller movie, We hope the makers have dealt with it accordingly. 


Renewal Status of Rebecca

Netflix has scheduled Rebecca to release on 21st October, 2020. The movie was announced in November, 2018 and the filming began around June 3, 2019. It’s better to mark the date of release as it looks another big hit on its way. When a novel is turned into a film, the excitement level surrounding it gets even more. We just hope to see the film go big in numbers. 


Cast and What to Expect from Rebecca

Netflix has confirmed the cast of the move, Rebecca. It includes the lead Mrs. De Winter, played by Actress Lily James. And Mrs. Danvers is played by Kristin Scott Thomas, Keeley Hawes as Beatrice Lacy, Armie Hammer as Maxim de Winter, Ann Dowd as Van Hopper, Tom Goodman-Hill as Frank Crawley, and Same Riley as Jack Favellwell. Netflix is good when it’s about adapting novels with incredible cinematography. 

Synopsis of Rebecca

Rebecca is directed by Ben Wheatley and it is based on the 1938 Gothic novel, ‘Rebecca’ by Daphne Du Maurier. The story takes a very strange turn when ghostly incidents happen. The newly wedded second wife of Mr De Winter’s is haunted by her husband’s first wife. This movie will be a treat to watch for every horror movie lovers.
