Peaky Blinders Season 6, Peaky Blinders is a British period family and crime drama. Steven Knight creates it. The series is based on the Pre World war 2 era Birmingham and post World War 1. It follows the rise of the Shelby family, an Irish nomad family. And the show starts after the end of World war1 when the men from the family return and take on their illegal business.
In the last season, we have seen the rise of the Communism and the start of the Irish revolution. Tommy Shelby, who with the blessing of Winsten Chirchil, became an Elite Member of the Parliament. Is dragged in the war between the communist and the government. But this the show will see more violence as the old feud that existed within the family has been renewed.
Renewal Status of Peaky Blinders Season 6
After making a huge success both commercially and financially for BBC, the show was renewed for a sixth season. It was expected to be released this year-end. But that time frame now looks impossible.
However, the new episodes are already over with the pre-production phases and are just waiting for the execution. But due to the COVID pandemic, the shooting has to be postponed. With the news floating around that BBC is pushing for the filming to start. Gives us hope that the show may very well be released in early to mid-2021.

The main cast of Peaky Blinders will be returning for the sixth edition of Peaky Blinders.
They are Cillian Murphy, Sam Neil, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Annabelle Wallis, Iddo Goldberg, and Sophie Rundle.
There is not much detail about the occurrence of season 6, but there are sure a few leaks. And one of them suggests that the show will take place exactly where it ended. The fifth season left us with many unanswered questions. And the sixth season surely will answer to all of them.

Peaky Blinders is no doubt of one of the best series of BBC. It was able to earn many awards and also liked by the critics. We can only hope for a speedy release of the show.
