High School DXD is an anime that derives its story from a manga. It is based on angels and the devil. The story starts with a girl’s high school, which is later converted into a co-education school—a boy named Issei Hyodo. A girl from the now co-ed high school asks the boy for a date.

On the date, the girl says that she is an angel and asks for the boy’s life. Later, another senior from 3rd year gets the boy back to life to find himself for the devil. The series was first released in 2012 and since then has become one of the favorites of people.

Renewal Status of Highschool DXD Season 5 

The filming and making of High School DXD season 5 have been stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic. As there is the panic of pandemic everywhere and people have been staying at home, it is impossible to work for the filming and making of the anime. The anime is expected to come no sooner than 2021. Thus it is certain that the show will arrive only after the pandemic is over. As per the situation now, the pandemic would take up to another year to get familiar.

The cast for the series will not face too many changes. As it is an anime, the previous season’s voice cast will be back to cast a voice for the 5th season. It to be voiced by Akeno Himejima, Ayena Taketatsu will be given voice by Koneko Toujou, and finally, Kenji Nojima will be voiced by Yuuto Kiba. The show can expect to consist more of the drama and romance in its high school story.
