Borgen is one of the award-winning series of 2012. It is a Danish drama series that is focussed around a woman who enters the world of politics. The woman struggles and tries a lot in her profession and finally becomes the first female prime minister of Denmark. The story shows her journey until she gains a prime minister’s power and the changes that she faces in her character after she owns the power. The series won The Best International TV series in the 2012 British Academy Television Awards.

Renewal Status of Borgen Season 4

The show was previously aired only in Denmark. Later, the show expanded to the US, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. Soon after this, Netflix signed with the show and decided for a global release of the show with Season 4. The production does not pitch the exact date of release. It is assumed that the will land in 2022. First, it will be released in Denmark and then all across the world.

Cast and What to Expect from Borgen Season 4

The show has decided to bring back the original members of the show for Season 4. Thus, not only the cast but the crew also will remain the same for the show. According to the information gathered, Sidse Babett Knudsen will feature Birgitte Nyborg Christensen, the first woman prime minister. Apart from Sidse, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen will play Katrine Fønsmark and Pilou Asbæk as Kasper Juul. As of now, only these characters are revealed for a comeback.
