The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has hit the Osbourne family hard. Sharon Osbourne told media that her three-year-old granddaughter, Minnie, is suffering from the virus. Minnie is Sharon’s son, Jack Osbourne’s daughter. Furthermore, Sharon also told the viewing audience about the diagnosis. The concerned fans were asking about Minnie and her health status. Jack provided an update, and fortunately, it’s good news.
Sharon Osbourne Talks About Jack’s Daughter on ‘The Talk’
Sharon is the famous co-host of CBS’s daytime talk show, The Talk. The show is being recorded in a studio with the hosts socially distanced from each other. However, Sharon had to appear remotely via a video conference on September 21. She is quarantining since she was close to Jack and Minnie.
“Such a dram,” Sharon said. “Yes, I wanted to be in the studio. I was very much looking forward to it. However, unfortunately, one of my granddaughters has contracted COVID. She’s okay, she’s okay, she’s doing well. I don’t have the disease. Her daddy and her mommy don’t have it too. Even her sisters don’t. It seems that she caught it from somebody that used to work for my son. It clearly shows you that even three-year-olds can get COVID.”
Sharon is halfway through her compulsory quarantine. After it, she plans to return to The Talk.
“Oh my God, I want to see all of you guys,” Osbourne told the other hosts. “I have just got one more week left of quarantining. After that, I’m out. As I told, I don’t have the virus. I keep testing negative but I still have to take necessary precautions.”
Ozzy Osbourne’s health
2020 has indeed been a challenging year for the Osbourne family. Sharon’s husband rock n’ roll legend Ozzy Osbourne and Jack’s father, both have been going through health issues. As a result, it required him to cancel his farewell tour even right before the coronavirus spread. Ozzy is undergoing a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and also has a major spinal injury.
