10 Things You Missed in The Vampire Diaries Season 9

Introduction of The Vampire Diaries Season 9

The hit-CW series The Vampire Diaries was a huge success. It was the story of Stefan Salvatore and how he turned into a vampire and his life after that. It starred multiple leads like Elena Gilbert, Damon Salvatore, and many more. By the end of the series, we see that Stefan sacrifices his life for his brother Damon. He burns himself to death as the hellfire comes along.

The series ran for eight seasons, and even after that, fans wanted another season. The Vampire Diaries season 9 tentatively is coming in March 2021. But we have some facts that you indeed had no idea about!

10 Things You Didn’t Notice and Made a Big Difference

Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) weren’t really as lovey-dovey off the screen as they were on-screen. Elena revealed that they didn’t enjoy each other’s company in the first few months of shooting. But eventually, they become the best of friends.

Before casting Ian, Paul Wesley auditioned a couple of times for Damon. And he wasn’t the choice until Ian got through.

It is very much known that Taylor Swift was a huge fan of the Vampire Diaries. And the makers wanted her for a few scenes as well. But their schedules didn’t work out.

Ian had his fun with Nina. He once stuck small elephant ears on her thighs during one of his shirtless scenes.

Paul and Ian have the same favorite episode from the series. It is the one in which Elena learns that Stefan is a vampire, and it features both Stefan and Damon in the 1800s. Along with Doppelganger Katherine Pierce.

Joseph Morgan, a.k.a Klaus Mikaelson, met the love of his life and now wife Persia White on the sets of TVD.

In TVD Season 8, we see Damon reading 50 Shades of Grey. Well, he auditioned for the role of Christian Grey.

Paul cried in the final episode of TVD.

Writers wanted a sassy line for Damon in the finale. But his last words were “Hello Brother,” which were also his first words in the series.

Paul and Ian kept their daylight rings after the series ended.

The Series, The Vampire Diaries, have a huge fan base. While it has been quite some time that it has ended, but fans are forever in love.
