I’m thinking of ending things is a Psychological and thriller movie. The American film is written and directed by Charlie Kaufman. The film is based on a novel by Lain Reid published in 2016 under the same name.
Due to the pandemic where most of the theatres are closed, the movie was released in selected theatres on August 28, 2020. And the worldwide release was on Netflix on September 4, 2020. The movie received positive reviews from both critics and fans.
Story Line of I’m Thinking of Ending Things
The plot of the movie follows a young woman who is contemplating her six weeks relationship. She was in a relationship with a boy named Jake. And they went to meet Jake’s parents on their farm. Where Jake recites a poem from his childhood days. Throughout the drive, the scene is cut in between and the later narrative of the movie.
To put footages of a janitor who is working as a high school. But the story is just starting inside the home. The young woman sees scratch marks. But the most confusing part of the whole narrative is when Jake shows her a childhood picture, which the women recognize as their own. In the end, we see Jack receiving a Nobel Prize, and he sings a song.
Binge It or Skip It
If you haven’t watched the movie, that is fine. Just watch the trailer above. And I assure you, it will make you watch the entire movie. Many fans of the movie have described the movie as artists, while on the other hand, many can’t comprehend the movie.
From first glance, the movie seems straight, a young girl in six to seven weeks with a boy. But as the movie went on, one realizes the movie’s title comes from what the young women are thinking in her head. I would suggest it is a definite Binge certified movie.
