The cop thriller genre revolves around FBI agent Frank Novak and Katherine Lannigan. In season one it was showed that Frank recovers a young Katherine who is absconding. Over time, Katherine took up Martial art and become one of the best in her class. Frank took Katherine under his wing and teaches her how to rescue children who are absconding. The first season didn’t leave any significant cliffhanger, nor did it provides any major plot twist.
Renewal Status of Gone Season 2
After Gone season 1 was successful in gathering ample amount of positive response from it’s the audience. The show is expected to return for a second season. As of now, the show maker hasn’t made any specific announcement regarding the release date of season 2. Moreover, the ongoing pandemic had also created many hindrances in production. Fans may have to wait a little bit longer for a release date.
Cast and What to Expect from Gone Season 2
With no confirmation relating to Gone season 2, it is still unclear about the cast or if any new addition will be made. However, from the last season, we can make some assumptions regarding the who may come back for their roles. Chris Noth who is playing the character of Frank Novak and Leven Rambin are sure to return. Other than that Danny Pino, Andy Mientus, Tracie Thoms may also return for their roles.
The first even though took us on quite a thrilling ride, but the story ended with no such cliffhanger. With such a clean ending, it is hard to predict what’s next, which is more of a reason for fans to want for more.
Synopsis of Gone Season 2
Gone was first aired on 13th November 2017 with a total of 12 episodes and was created by Matt Lopez. The series is based on the novel ‘One Kick’ by author Chelsea Cain. Each episode of the first season carried an intriguing plot.
