Lili Reinhart has truthfully opened up about some critical issues recently. The actress spoke up about her bisexuality, depression and her insecurity about body image. During this lockdown, Reinhart got real about her life to her fans and disclosed some private details. We all know that Lili always spreads body positivity on her social media and in real life. This time she spoke up about her body image insecurities and how Riverdale had a part to play.
Lili Didn’t Want to Film THIS Scene
Moreover, Reinhart recently disclosed that she didn’t want to film one particular scene in Riverdale. In the last season of the show, Lili had to shoot a scene in a bra and underwear. However, she didn’t want to shoot the scene at all and felt nervous about it.
The American actress didn’t even share this revelation with her costars, friends or family. Reinhart went on to admit that she doesn’t have the regular CW body like other girls. It was further adding that she doesn’t have a teeny waist, nice-shaped legs and isn’t skinny, small or tiny.
Reinhart Wasn’t Pressured to Bare her Skin.
Nevertheless, she made it clear that no one forced her to film the scene. Reinhart filmed the scene because it’s her job and not because anyone pressured her into doing it. But at the end of the day, she felt bad filming the skin-baring scene herself. But that’s where the entire situation gets complicated for the actress.
Lili’s always Vocal about Body Positivity
Besides, the fact that she didn’t feel comfortable in her own body didn’t sit right with Lili. She filmed the scene to give a positive image to her fan. As well as for the people who feel like they need to look a particular way. Reinhart found it essential for her to shoot the scene in her underwear and bra even if she didn’t feel fantastic about her body. The 23-year-old wanted the audience to see her body as it is, real and unedited.
Reinhart Feels Insecure about Her Costars Bodies
Previously, Reinhart admitted that she sometimes feels intimidated courtesy of her castmates’ physiques. She took to Twitter to share her insecurities and wrote that she struggles with this daily. The actress knows that what she sees on social media isn’t realistic and wants to come in terms with her own body.
