Renewal Status of Season 6
As for now, Better Call Saul Season 6, got approved earlier this year. The show was originally planned to land with its next Season in late 2020 or early 2021. Corona Virus pandemic started soon after the filming was scheduled.
The pandemic took the lives of thousands of people leaving behind fear and terror. The global entertainment industries were shut down and thus the filming of Better Call Saul Season 6 also faced a halt. It will be no sooner than 2021 that we can expect AMC to drop the next season into streaming.
Cast and What to Expect from the Next Season
As the filming of the latest season has not begun yet, it is hard to predict the exact cast. But, the ending of season 5 has given us enough hint of some of the permanent faces of the next season. Odenkirk will definitely return as Goodman, the title character of the show.
A few other characters who can potentially return are Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Giancarlo Esposito to be starring as Gus Fring, and Tony Dalton as Lalo Salamanca. Jonathan Banks would take up the role of Mike Ehrmantraut, Patrick Fabian for Howard Hamlin, Micheal Mando appear as Nacho Varga.
