Travis Scott spent big banks on his latest purchase, and it’s a massive one, no doubt. The chart-topping rapper splurged $23.5 million on a Brentwood mansion, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles. According to reports, Scott paid the whole amount ($23.5 million!) in cash…yeah, we cannot relate.
The 16,700-square-foot mansion sits on a hilltop and initially boasted a price tag of $42 million. The mansion has a unique design as it resembles a modern yacht and includes many over the top features. The three-floor property includes 7 huge bedrooms as well as around 11 bathrooms.
Travis’ new mansion has some extraordinary features.
Not only that, but the entrance to the mansion can win anyone’s heart over. Besides, you can enter the property through a steep and slopes driveway. But it’s no ordinary driveway as this one ends, on the roof the mansion! Along with that, the roof will have plenty of room for guest parking.
And Travis will never have less parking space as an “auto gallery” in the house provides parking for nearly 20 more vehicles. The property’s designed by the father-daughter firm De Loren & Associates, who have previously designed many other celebrity homes.
A 180-degree view of the Hills and the Pacific Ocean
Moreover, the floor to ceiling windows let you have a clear 180 view of the gorgeous city and the ocean. Scott’s splurge comes after he sold numerous records (more than 45 million) in the US.
The Houston born rapper broke the charts with his album Astroworld. Besides, he recently launched a sneaker-like with Nike and safe to say. It didn’t take long to sell out. His new property and the interior screams luxury, extravagance, and expensive.
Besides, it also includes a 75-foot infinity pool and an at-home movie theatre (internal squealing), which has 15 seats. Of course, how can we forget the private gym and wine cellar, which can hold up to 650 bottles? Furthermore, the Zen garden at the entrance of the house shows off a sculpture by the well-known Japanese woodworker, Toshi Kawabata.
Kylie’s big splurge earlier this year
Meanwhile, the Astroworld rapper’s purchase appears as one of the most expensive real estate buys in Los Angeles this year. Travis’ ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Kylie Jenner, bought her lavish mansion nearby for a whopping $36.5 million a few months back. The two spend a lot of time together along with their daughter, Stormi Webster. Kylie and Travis co-own the house he’s currently living in at Beverly Hills.
