Geno Silva, the legendary assassin from “Scarface”, passed away aged 72. His family members reported his death. According to them, Silva died peacefully in the comfort of his home.

He had his family and children around him before and during his death. Silva was suffering from Frontotemporal Degeneration(FTD), a form of Dementia.

He was a hitman, who did not utter a word when he killed Tony Montana(Al Pacino). The role earned him the seventh place on the list of Top 20 Best Henchmen in Cinema History. He has also appeared in films such as “Mulholland Drive”, “Amistad”, “The Lost World: Jurassic Park”, “A Man Apart”, “Tequila Sunrise” and “Zoot Suit”.

Silva has also featured in Television series like “Star Trek Enterprise”, ” Miami Vice”, “Hill Street Blues” and a regular as Hector Allegria in “Key West”.
