While we are struggling to pass-through our day, Drake’s new release is entering charts at No. 1. As per the latest reports, Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes (Republic/Universal) has joined the second week of its release and is at No.1 on Australia’s albums charts.
Following him is SAINt JHN’s Roses (Sony) who is in the sixth week in the top National singles and “Stuck With U” (Universal). Ariana Grande-Justin Bieber’s collaboration becomes the highest debut of the week.
Drake Is Topping Charts In Australia
Drake released Dark Lane Demo Tapes earlier this month. The album is in the second week and stands at No.1 in the Australian charts. And on No.2 is the Roses by SAINt JHN. The song “Stuck With U” is at No. 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart just after The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights. This has given Ariana her first-ever entry in the chart of 2020 and marks Justin Bieber’s fourth.
The proceeds from the singles will be used to help the organisation named First Responders Children’s Foundation which funds the education of the children of the frontline workers who have been affected by the on-going Coronavirus pandemic.
ARIA Album Charts Gives A Good Week For Other Artists As Well
The last week has proved to be a perfect one for a lot of other artists as well. DaBaby’s Rockstar has risen 14-9-4 and now is in the good eyes of the ARIA Singles Chart.
Along with DaBaby, Tekashi 6ix9ine has had a good week too. He recently came out of prison is now a record-setter and is in the list of Top 20 artists on the ARIA Singles Chart. The song “Gooba”, the first one since his release is at No. 14. This song came out after 18 months since his last entry in the chart.
Over the ARIA Albums Chart, Drake is at the top, and Hayley William bagged the week’s highest debuts.
