Cole Sprouse Does Not Want A Reboot Of ‘Suit Life’ And Here’s Why
The 27-year-old actor revealed that a reboot of the fan favorite show ‘Suit Life’ is clearly not a good idea since it might just tarnish the reputation of the legendary series. Sprouse told Jimmy Fallon during his appearance on the “Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon”, conducted virtually. Sprouse has been a cast member of the show.
The series had first premiered 15 years ago titled as “The Suit Life of Zack and Cody”. The show starred Cole Sprouse as Cody and his brother Dylan Sprouse as Zack. The show has gained immense popularity in its early years and remains unparalleled. However, there had been requests by fans for the show’s renewal and the creators had even considered it. However, Cole Sprouse advises against it and here’s why.
Cole Sprouse Says The Rebooting Of The Show Might Tarnish Its Longstanding Reputation
Even before Cole Sprouse became popular as Jughead Jones from “Riverdale”, he made teenagers and women alike fall for his antics as Cody Martin in “The Suit Life of Zack and Cody”. His twin brother Dylan Sprouse co-starred in the show as Zack Martin. The 2005 American sitcom of three seasons, featured identical twins Zack and Cody, who witness their lives taking a turn when their mother starts working at The Tipton, one of Boston’s finest hotels.
After three seasons, the fans had come up with wild requests of the show’s rebooting, that stand even today. However, Cole Sprouse says that rebooting the show with a new script has the potential to ruin the show’s previous content and legacy. He said,
“I don’t think it should be done if I’m being honest. I think it’s really incendiary. There’s a huge potential to kind of demolish that perfect little golden memory of a program if you go back and you revive it.”
