Jessie And Karthik: After 10 years

It’s been 10 years since VTV first came on TV, we loved it. The story was sweet and though it ended on a sad note, it did teach us so many things. So, now here we are amid COVID-19 and a short film named Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn.

The movie starts with Karthik trying to write a script, but is not able to, due to his creative block. He gets frustrated and starts searching for Jessie. Meanwhile, Jessi is in Kerela with her family when she receives a call from Karthik and nostalgia hits her back.

She speaks to him calmly and talks about her husband Roy, and how the twins always keep her engaged. Due to the pandemic, the family decided to shift from New York to Kerela. While she was speaking, Karthik cut her in between and said that he needs her. He further went on to say that he needs her love, her support and cannot live without her.

Jessie handles him calmly like she always did and responded with, “You are like a child to me, my third child” hence sending him to baby-zone. However, the conversation ends and it seemed like Karthik will move on.

Will there be a movie?

Though we hope that there’s a movie on this, it is difficult to say that. The stars made this short film during the pandemic and it was 12 minutes long. However, we as fans, are hoping for a movie or something which would quench our thirst.
