Ruthie Ann Miles And Husband Jonathan Blumenstein Welcome, Their Newborn Girl After Two Years Since They Lost Their Unborn Baby And 4-Year-Old Daughter
She and her husband, Jonathan, welcomed their rainbow baby. They named her Hope Elizabeth, which is symbolic of the hope and happiness she has brought into their lives ever since the tragic incident involving their four-year-old daughter and the unborn baby. Therefore, it goes without saying what a happy occasion this is for the couple and their friends and family as well as the fans.
Ruthie posted a picture of their baby’s feet on Instagram on 9th May and captioned it “4 generations of April babies”. She had announced in March that they are expecting. She explained,
“We’d like to announce our delighted news: We are expecting another child this spring! Thank you, especially to the many of you who supported us in the aftermath of the crash, continually lifted us in prayer, doused us with Love…”
She also wrote that her late daughters Abigail Joy and Sophia, would have loved to be sisters with Hope, had they been here today.
Ruthie Lost Her Two Daughters In A Tragic Accident Back In 2018. The Family Had A Tough Time Coping With The Devastation
In March 2018, Ruthie and her daughter Abigail were seriously injured in a car accident while crossing a road in Brooklyn. The car had driven through a red light and hit several pedestrians, including Ruthie and Abigail. Ruthie, at that point, was seven months pregnant with Sophia.
Abigail was four years old. And had passed away from the injuries. The car also killed Lauren Lew’s 1-year-old son Joshua.
Ruthie was taken to a hospital where she was kept in ICU for 3 days. She lost Sophia two months after the incident. The driver of the car, Dorothy Bruns, was later found dead. She had committed suicide in November 2018.
