In the online session, Sandra and Laila thanked a Nurse manager who has been working tirelessly for COVID-19 patients.

The 55-year-old actress and her eight-year-old daughter made an appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Mother’s Day Special episode on Friday. The mother-daughter duo had a critical message to convey to California’s Adventist Health White Memorial’s nurse manager April Buancameno. The message was,
“We get to sit here and be home with our families because you are out there doing the hard, hard, hard work.”
She continued, “April, thank you for — I’m going to try to say this without crying — but thank you for everything that you’re doing..”
Laila too expressed her gratitude. She told April,
“Thank you, April, for doing everything for everyone. Stay safe, and your family [sic].”
Sandra additionally has recently donated 6,000 N95 masks to the LA hospital. When asked by Jada as to how she decided which hospital to donate the mask to, Sandra said that she was given a list of names of hospitals, and she chose the ones that represented her family. April’s hospital was the closest and therefore, her decision.
