Review on After Life
Ricky Gervais’s After Life has got 10/10 reviews from its viewers. Fans can’t stop praising the storyline of the series and want another season. Ricky Gervais has written, directed and acted in the series, and has filled it with dozens of emotions.
You would laugh, you would smile, and you would cry, but in the end, you would realize that Life goes on: this is what you are going to feel after you watch After Life.
The story revolves around a widower, Tony, who has recently lost his wife. The first season shows us the struggles that Tony is facing. He is in depression; he is upset and becomes a person that he is not. His only companion is his dog. Tony’s behavior changes in the 2nd season, after knowing about his father’s illness.
He meets a nurse, whom he likes, and develops a change in his character. You would see a kinder, a happier Tony in the 2nd season. However, fate has something else in-stored for him. When he lost his father, he is upset but handles the situation pretty well. You won’t see a single tear in his eyes during the funeral.
The sadness hits him when he is alone in his room and is watching a video of his wife. The scene has moved the fans, and they loved it.
Will there be another season?
We do hope that there is another season. We do want to see the Life of Tony, his story, and whether he would find his love or not.
But, it all depends upon Ricky Gervais, if he wants to continue the story, we would see it. Let’s hope for the best.
