The spider-man star, Tom Holland’s new movie ‘Uncharted,’ has changed its release date again. The movie is not delayed but has moved forward. Considering the current situation, it’s quite surprising to hear the news. While most of the projects are being delayed or pushed back, Uncharted is moved up.
This new upcoming sony movie is based on a video game. And, it will feature Tom Holland in the title role of ‘Nathan Drake.’ Moreover, the movie has already faced a few difficulties while filming the movie.
Earlier it was shut down just right after a day of filming. Furthermore, the movie has been in the talks for more than 10 years and is finally happening. We were quite happy with the information, and the new release is just like a cherry on the top.
Uncharted: New Release Date
The Action movie was earlier supposed to release on 8th October 2021. But according to the new announcement, it will hit the theatres three months soon, 16th July 2021. As we informed, the movie has been a project since 2008 but was never initiated. Finally, it got a green flag, but still, the movie had to face a lot of hurdles.
The movie juggled between seven directors, before finally sticking to the one. Also, it has been delayed several times.
Rubin Fleischer will now direct the movie. He has previously directed Zombieland and Sony’s Venom. Meanwhile, it is written by Art Marcum and Matt Holoway, who wrote the original Iron man movie.
Cast Of The Movie
Tom Holland will be seen as Nathan Drake in the movie. Along with him, Mark Wahlberg will also be seen in the movie, as Tom’s mentor, Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan. ‘The 100‘ actress Tati Gabrielle will also lead a major role in the movie. Besides, Oscar-nominee Antonio Banderas and The Grey’s Anatomy‘s, Sophia Ali are also in the movie.
