‘Uncharted’ Is All Set For Its Big Release Soon, But Nolan North Has Some Opinions On The Casting
Uncharted is a video game based film from Sony productions that follows the adventures of Nathan Drake across the globe to unravel different historical mysteries.
The video game series is quite popular among gamers and is available on Playstation. Now, director Reuben Fletcher has come up with the idea of a film based on the video game series.
The filming and production of Uncharted were supposed to begin soon but, had to be postponed due to the unprecedented Coronavirus outbreak. The whole Hollywood is under lockdown, and people of all states and countries are in-home quarantine.
Therefore, the chances of Uncharted beginning filming are quite less. But what details do we have in the upcoming film?
Uncharted: Plot, Director, Cast And All Other Details You Need To Stay Updated
Directed by Reuben Fletcher, scripted by Art Marcum and Matt Holoway and Rafe Judkins the film features Nathan Drake, on his adventures across the globe trying to unravel the historical mysteries of the world.
Sony Playstation Productions will produce the film along with Asad Quizilbash, Carter Swan, Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner and Ari Arad. The film follows the first encounter of Nathan Drake with Victor Sullivan.
The cast features Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, Nolan North voices Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Sully. However, Nolan North admitted that Wahlberg isn’t the ideal Sully to him,
“I think the fact that they’re going to make it [The Last of Us] a series is way better than making a movie out of anything. I think having the guy who did Chernobyl is the frigging elephant in the room that you need to get things done. I’m more excited about that – I’ve got to be honest – than I am about an Uncharted movie. I love Mark Wahlberg, but I don’t see him as Sully. I just don’t see that as Sully.”
Wahlberg and the director have not made any comments yet about North’s revelation. The film is set to release on 8th October 2021.
