Due to the sudden coronavirus pandemic, season 5 of ‘Lucifer’ has been delayed. However, most viewers have been concocting wild theories about the upcoming episodes. Mazikeen, also known as Maze, in the first season, comes to punish potential thieves suspected of stealing a stolen necklace. This necklace belonged to Lucifer’s older brother, Amenadiel (D. B. Woodside).
LAPD detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) assists Lucifer with various cases. Maze lends a hand to defend Earth from heavenly threats. Stay tuned to find out more details about the upcoming season of Lucifer, along with release date, cast, and plot!
The new life on Earth
Maze had begun to resent her life on Earth quite early. She believes that Lucifer and the demons belong to the underworld. There was one of the most earth-shattering twists to the series at the end of season 4. There could be a major fracture between Lucifer and his friends, both mortal and celestial. This would be a result of the extensive changes in the status quo.
Maze had an initial desire to return to hell. Lucifer returned to his hellish throne in the last episode. He embraced the prophecy made by Father Kinley (Graham McTavish).
His way to the underworld
Lucifer went back without telling Maze what the hell was going on. This could be a reason why the previously inseparable pair to fall out in the upcoming season. Most of the fans have been discussing this on Reddit extensively. The former lovers and best of friends might have a heated argument over this. However, the possibility of them becoming mortal enemies is low, though.
