We all know the mind-boggling series which showcased violence, rape, suicide but still managed to keep us hooked to the high school drama and the bullies. 13 Reasons Why has been one of the most popular series on Netflix.
The story is an adaption of a standalone novel of the same name, written by Jay Asher which has stretched up to three seasons yet. However, it didn’t stop there; Netflix is going to drop the fourth season anytime now. So, let’s get you prepared.
The most controversial series yet the most praised:
The most contentious series of Netflix will be renewing with the fourth season with so much drama that you will feel the characters and the plot, just like the other three seasons. After the revelation of the truth behind Bryce Walker’s death, it was also officially announced that the fourth season ill be the grand finale.
When will the series return for the fourth run?
Till now, a date has not been announced regarding the release of the final season. However, looking at the previous events of the series, we can guess a near-around date. The previous season came out on 23rd August 2019.
According to a tweet posted by Dylan Minnette, he said that the shooting for the season 4 has already been wrapped up by December. However, most of the production was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.
If some of the episodes would have made it to the production, we might be able to see them this year at the earliest—however, some of the final episodes till 2021. We hope the season finale also contains 13 episodes just like it had been for the past three seasons.
Plots and theories of Season 4:
The series has come a long way since Hannah Baker dominated the narrative of the cassettes. The cassettes addressed to the main characters of the series, which she considered the reason why she committed suicide. Part four will mostly focus on the main characters graduating from high school.
However, more of the plot has been kept under wraps. A lot of theories have been talked about—for example, Justin Foley and his ever-growing addiction to drugs which might end up in death. The only way to end this anxiety is to wait for the season to release.
