Lately, Netflix has given a second season pickup to the period drama “Aquaman” which stars Jason Momoa, before its premiere.
The six-episode series from Canada’s Bell Media is now set to launch November 6 on Discovery Canada. The Netflix premiere date is yet to be determined. Peter Blackie and Rob Blackie create frontier series, chronicles the rough-and-tumble fur trade in North America. This was in the 18th century and the clashes between the newly arrived Europeans and the regions aboriginal tribes.
ASAP Entertainment As The Main Producer Of The Series
The ASAP Entertainment’s Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson serve as the primary producers on the series. Netflix and Discovery Canada have now ordered another six-episode for Aquaman 2. The series has lensed in Canada and also in the UK.
The star Jason is on the hot streak as he settles in for his run as the Aquaman in a string of DC-Comics inspired movies. He was then starting with the Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. The actor will be part of the ensemble in next year’s ‘Justice League’ and is in the line for his star turn in Aquaman.
Jason Momoa Has Appeared In Good TV Series
The star’s past TV credits also include HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones; then there is SundanceTV’s Red Road. He also appeared in Stargate: Atlantis. He has become very famous from then and now is getting a lot of opportunity in TV productions.
Recently, Netflix had announced on Monday that they are raising one billion dollars through new debt. That is also offering, increasing their load for more 3 billion. The online streaming service has a very long-term goal to make about half of their TV shows and even the original contents of the movies. We don’t think that the second season is cancelled, cause there is no confirmation of it yet.
