Playing safe has brought about a disastrous ending for Hunters. There were numerous plausible twisted endings for the alternate history premise but the final reveal is nothing but a safe move. It was what the fans had least expected. With the introduction of an elderly Adolf Hitler, David Weil, seems to have showcased the future storyline and it is nothing but disappointing.
The Series Had Its Inspiration In Previous History Shows
The series seemed to have had its inspiration in the Hunting Hitler series. However “Eilu v’ Eilu,” the finale episode definitely doesn’t resolve the most obvious questions. Nonetheless, it wraps up with finesse the numerous subplots and open ends and lays forth new mysteries and twists. However, the biggest mystery being that of Hitler.
According to the show Hitler was living in Argentina with his beloved wife Eva Braun (The Colonel) and their four identical sons. However, there was no such evidence of Hitler’s story throughout the season.
Introducing Of Hitler Has Changed The Track And Diverted From The Original Plot
The introduction of Hitler plotline seems to be diverting from the original storyline of what the Nazis had been undergoing. It focussed on their defeat in the war. However with the reveal of Hitler being alive audience seems to forget or look over the original characters and plot.
Introduction Of Hitler Will Ensure Introduction Of Many New Seasons As A Strong Plotline
Nonetheless with Hitler being made a part of the show there is a humongous possibility of new seasons with new issues. The audience can definitely expect plenty more twists. However, through the following seasons, The Colonel can be expected to inadvertently lure Jonah’s group to Argentina. The colonel will probably continue to play as the Big Bad. The show has possibilities and potential to go into different directions
