Karyn Turk, former Mrs Florida has pleaded guilty and been sent to Miami prison. Nonetheless the present scenario has shaken Karyn to the core and she is terrified of staying in a prison. In one of her interviews, her eyes welled up with tears.
However, Karyn Turk admitted to withholding her mother’s security checks from her mother’s nursing home. She claims that it was nothing but a mistake. She did not intend to hold on to her mother’s Social Security check.
Former Mrs Florida, Karyn Turk, Had Admitted To Misdemeanor Charges
According to reports, the old Mrs Florida had admitted to $17,000 misdemeanours. However, after pleading guilty, she would have to spend thirty days in downtown federal prison. Nonetheless, this had rattled her.
According to Karyn Turk, she withheld the said amount because Finnish American Rest Home was not taking proper care of her mother. Karyn claims that the nursing home was negligent in their responsibility. According to reports, the former Mrs Florida even has a wrongful death suit against the nursing home pending.
Turk Claimed That According To The Initial Deal She Would Not Have To Go To The Prison
Nonetheless, Turk claimed that she had agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanour because there was no prison involved. According to the initial deal, she was aware that she would not have to face prison time.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor made new statements during her sentence. According to the original reports, her character was questioned. The comments claimed that she failed in taking proper care of her mother. It was suddenly that the magistrate passed sentence. According to the magistrate’s report, she would have to spend at least 30 days behind the bar.
Neither Turk Not Her Attorney Seem To Agree With The Magistrate’s Sentence
Nonetheless, both Turk and her attorney were shocked at the new sentence against her. Turk had been extremely vocal and open about her opinions and support of Trump on all media platforms. Turk believes that the unduly harsh statement against her might have something to do with her political alignments.
However, sources claim that Turk would turn herself in on Monday at noon.
