Anne With an E is a Canadian drama adapted initially from 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. It has shown many bold elements, like homosexuality and racial inequality. Credit must go to the Emmy-Award winning producer to bring out the true essence of the story out. This series was a huge hit. It has released three seasons. But for the fans season, four is seeming to be a lot suspicious. Season 3 was released on November 2019, and since then, no good news has come out about the next installment of this series.
Reasons for season 3 being the end :
Despite having a tremendous response from young people, CBC’s principal personalization supervisor Sally Catto has revealed that it has got a small number on Netflix. Viewers in the age group of 25 to 54 were not at all, giving excellent reviews nor showing any anxiety to watch this series. This made Netflix and CBC take this as a full stop to Anna With an E series. Even though twitter is going viral with many hashtags from fans like #SaveAnnewithanE does not seem to affect much to the situation.
Pinch of Hope For fans :
In the episode, ten viewers can see the love vibe generated between Gilbert and Anne. According to the novel, this leads to their relationship to marriage. Though many changed were incorporated from the different version to the TV version so that people can connect it to more, these kinds of significant events couldn’t be changed. So from the story in the novel, the next big thing is the marriage of Anne and Gilbert. But as the fourth installment of this series is not a certain one to think.
Anne production company, Walley-Beckett, showed the same amount of enthusiasm in making the fourth part to Anne with an E just like the fans. So this has created a ray hope for the fans to see their favourite to roll out. With season 3 finale depicting another part in the life of the main character and is ready for new past biographies of green fables, so fans are excited to hear these words from the production company. But still, fans must keep their fingers-crossed to expect official good news from the team of Anne with an E.
