According to the police reports in Grand Rapids, Michigan, an 11-year-old child was stabbed multiple times in a ‘random act of violence.’ However, the child has survived. According to reports, a potential suspect is in custody.
The mother reported that she was literally in deep sleep when the unfortunate event had taken place. According to the mother, Yahira Suarez, the blood-curdling screams of her child had woken her up. When she rushed to the scene and turned on the lights, there was blood everywhere, and it looked like a crime scene.
It Was Scene Of Home Invasion And Attack
The police had received a call at 3 a.m about a home invasion. According to police reports, when the police arrived at the scene, it looked like someone had broken into the house and stabbed the child multiple times.
The Son Was Immediately Taken To Hospital Where He Was Treated For The Injuries
According to Yahira Suarez, her son was admitted to the hospital for the injuries from multiple stabbing. The boy’s mother claims that her son had been stabbed at least 10 times. Four times at the back, his head and four times in the front. One of the stabs was so deep that even the knife had broken in his mouth.
Using the K-9 tracking system, the police successfully found the guilty. According to the police, the suspect was immediately arrested. Denny William McNees, a 21 year, was charged on numerous counts, including assault with the intention of murder alongside home invasion. According To Police Reports, The Accused Suspect Is Held At Kent County Jail.
The accused suspect is being held at the county Jail at Kent. He is held on a bond of $500,000. The 21 one-year-old will have his next hearing on the 18th of February.
It Was A Failed Attempt At Invasion Which Turned Into A Random Violent Attack
According to Sgt. John Wittkowski of Grand Rapids police was a failed attempt of invasion. The 21-year-old had no intention of violently attacking a minor. In a random attack, McNees stabbed the child multiple times.
Meanwhile, the child’s mother stated that her child has high functioning autism. Processing the trauma would be difficult for the child. According to the mother, her son is the most innocent and loving person, and that has now been damaged.
