An Orinda man raped a juvenile repeatedly in 4 years and, when caught, tried to run away. There were car chase and a standoff between the police and the madman. Finally found, now faces some serious charges.
Justice, What An Irony
The molester is identified as 41-year-old David Martin Justice. He raped and molested the girl who is now an adult. The man is accused of raping the girl six times between 2015 and 2019. The charges are now filed by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office. Justice is charged with six counts of raping and molesting a teenage girl over the period of four years.
The Cat-Mouse Chase
The Walnut Creek police went to a home in the 200 blocks of Hall Drive in Orinda, California. The officers went in to interview Justice about the sexual assault that happened in Walnut Creek four years ago.
But, Justice saw the officers come in, and he drove off from his apartment in his car. Officers chased him on the highway at high speeds, but he returned to his house and locked himself in. He came out the backdoor of his house with a shotgun cocked and placed on his head. The man was not backing down; reportedly, police negotiated with him for almost four hours before he surrendered.
Justice was cuffed and taken to the station. On February 7, 2020, almost five years later, he was finally behind bars. He has been charged with charges relating to the sexual assault of a minor. He remains in custody in the Martinez jail on a $5 million bail. But, Justice is scheduled to appear in court again next week. The woman who came forward has not been identified yet, but it is known that now she is an adult. The assaults happened between 2015 and 2019. The victim may have been 14 at the time the crimes started.
