De’ von Hall, a star NFL player, caught guilty for killing his mother in April 2017. He was behind bars for the crime for a reasonably extended period of time. Following he was clear for this crime for having an unstable mental condition.
NFL Player Kills His Mother
Alecia Benson mother of the star player was laying in blood in April 2017. Officials found her laying back inside her home in blood and gasping for air. They quickly took her to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. On the other hand, officials started an investigation for her case. They soon found her son was the one behind the act.
Hall was found on roads with a cigar. Soon when the police tried to handcuff him, he fought back. In an interview with the police, they said he fought back with three other officials and was finally retained.
Benson, 48, worked for a local doctor. She was a very caring mother in spite of his son’s mental disorder.
After the arrest deputies found $3,000 in $20 bills inside his gym bag, he also carried a gym bag of a hairdryer, a bottle of alcohol, three pairs of tennis shoes and two Batman DVDs.
De’ von Had Mental Issues
Hall played as a defensive back during appearances with Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He had had mental illness for several years. In an interview with his family for THE TIMES, the said he made unusual behaviour both in the house and on the field.
His behaviour grew more dangerous after football. He wore headphones of combat voices in, posted nonsensical messages on social media, appeared for a Canadian Football League combine event in Santa Monica wearing a swimsuit, etc.
His condition grew more severe. In conclusion, he walked out of jail and went to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles in June 2017.
