A woman can go to any extent when her safety is hampered. In many countries seven murdering a person in case of self-defense is legal. But many a time, women use this very freedom given to them for hiding their unlawful activities. A made-up case of self-defense was encountered recently in Wisconsin. A woman has fatally stabbed her ex-lover.
Woman Stabbed Lover 16 Times
The woman has been identified as Ezra McCandles, 22 who allegedly killed her ex-lover Alex Woodworth, 24. This incident took place in March 2018. This brutal stabbing was carried out by Ezra in her very car.
Ezra had gotten stuck in an isolated muddy road in the town of Spring Brook. This place was just outside of Eau Claire. This is where she had carried out this deed. In addition o stabbing her ex-lover, she had injured herself too.
Ezra had carved ‘boy’ in her very own arm. When asked about this by the deputies, she had replied that when in high school, she had questioned her gender. But soon after, these thoughts of recognizing herself as a boy had passed. But her ex-lover used to call her a ‘boy’.
“Alex used to call me a boy a lot and stuff like that. I used to be like, I don’t identify myself that way anymore,” she said to one of the detectives.
Ezra Sentenced Life Imprisonment
Ezra has been convicted for first-degree murder by the Dunn County Judge James Peterson. She had been sentenced to life in prison for over 50 years behind bars without the possibility of parole.
Ezra McCandles Had met Alex at a coffee shop where he used to work as a barista. From there, they had developed a romantic relationship. He had aspirations for becoming a professor in philosophy.
