The sun had set on William Fernandez’s family on Father’s Day when he was slain by a man over a petty months-long parking feud. But justice did prevail. The convict has recently been sentenced to 20 years in imprison. The killer was identified as David Hall, 47.
William Fernandez, 33 was a resident of Brooklyn and he was slain to death in the year 2018. A recent court hearing has given him justice in which his sister was also present.
Fernandez’s Sister In Dismay
William’s sister, Jasmine Fernandez while in court, wept and cursed her brother’s killer. She also blamed him for the death of their mother ho had ended being traumatized after her son’s death. The criminal did not say a word in protest and was silent all the way long while William’s sister was cursing him.
“Because of what you did, my mother passed away a year later due to the heartache. You might as well have gone to her house and pulled the trigger in her too,” said jasmine in Brooklyn Supreme Court.
About the Clash Between The Men
In January 2018 both the men ended up having problems with one another. The men had argued when Hall accused Fernandez of taking his spot. In April, Hall had found his tires slashed, and he blamed William for it. This went on for four more months. In June, on Father’s Day, both the men crossed paths on the streets. This time Hall had a gun, and both the men argued. Fernandez tried to walk away, but Hall followed him for many blocks. He then took Fernandez in a corner and shot at him seven times.
Jasmine said, “Even if my brother slashed his tires, which he didn’t, that does not justify what he did to him. HE didn’t deserve that. He was trying to avoid him that night.”
