Rush Ails With Lung Cancer
Rush Limbaugh has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. He made this announcement about his ailment on Monday. This makes us recall the gripping story he had once shared from his childhood that would inspire him to raise some $50 million to fight the very disease affecting him now.
Rush ran “cure-a-thons” for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on his fame from the year 1990 till 2016. In this show, the iconic talk radio king told listeners what inspired him to do get funds for carrying out this cancer research. He said that when he was a young boy, he had heard his father talking with a cousin named Rusby. The houseguest was a doctor, and he had cancer. He added that the conversation was agitated.
His father and the guest were talking about whether they will ever be a cure for this disease for not. The man battling with the disease was hoping for a chance at living. After some time, Rubsy had lost all hope and was dying slowly and painfully. This had inspired Rush to arrange funds for research in the field of treatment of cancer. Rush did not want anyone else to die a sad death.
Rush believes in God and has full faith in the almighty to help in sail well in his present condition. He is hoping he will recover and be healthy again.
