Getting free anything is always a massive welcome for all of us. But not all of us take it in the right way. A recent incident that took place is an outlet of Taco Bell that has caught much attention these days. A man in Virginia tried to stab an employee at Taco Bell at 730 Warrenton Road in Falmouth. He made up his mind to do so over a free taco. The free taco was supposedly not of his liking.
Dead Particular About Tacos
The offender went to his local Taco Bell to get a Taco. He then ordered one of the dollar menus. But to his dismay, he found out that he had only 70 cents. The humble employees of Taco Bell decided to go ahead and give him a taco for free.
Octavious N. Hodges, 39, reacted strangely to this. Rather than being grateful, he turned violent against the very employee. The taco served to him did not taste good, according to him. He became enraged that the restaurant did not give him the type of taco he wanted.
He got so upset that he pulled out a knife and lunged it twice towards the employees in an attempt to stab them. This happened over a heated argument between the two parties. But fortunately, nobody was injured.
Police Readily Caught The Suspect
After this encounter, Hodges ran off from the restaurant. Soon a police complaint was filed, and the police came to the scene. It did not take them much time to find the offender. They used police dogs and found Hodges in a grassy area near the restaurant.
Hodges is currently arrested and is facing charges. The charges filed against him includes attempted malicious wounding, disorderly conduct, assault, and obstruction of justice.
