Nearly $2 Million Raised In The Auction For The ‘Death Car’ Tupac Shakur Rode While He Was Assassinated

Tupac Shakur, an American Rapper who was brutally assassinated at the age of 25 while he was driving his car. Just about 24 years later, after his death, his ‘death car’ was auctioned in the block. 

A black BMW 750il, with 121,000 miles on the odometer, is the car the American rode on his death trip. The famous car is listed on the “celebritycars.com” list for an initial price of $1.75 million and is being sold by the present-day owner Death Row Records. Participants need to deposit $20,000 as refundable money before anyone can bid on it.

The ‘Death Car’-

According to the media reports, this is the first time the car has been uplifted in the auction block or has been displayed publicly since Tupac’s death in 1996. It’s a classic BMW car of model number 750il, which can run up to 121,000 miles. The vehicle has been reinstated to its original form as it was before his death and just picked up new paint.

This famous car has been featured in the popular reality series “Pawn Stars” telecast in History Channel.

How Shakur Was Murdered In This BMW-

After attending a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand in Vegas on September 7, 1996, he was riding back in his classic BMW along with his Death Row CEO Suge Knight. They reached a stoplight when suddenly gunshots were made several times by individuals from another car driving side-by. Tupac was kept on ventilation in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Southern Nevada. Shakur was announced dead on September 13, 1996, after six days before the incident. His murder and criminals remain as a mystery as the case is unsolved.
