From a county in Kentucky, Rockcastle County, this news comes. A woman has been charged with murder when she said she went all “redneck.” A bad stereotype, but her words.
Called To An Home Because Of An Unusual Altercation
Police reported that they were called to a home on Pug Lane, Friday morning. According to the arrest reports, the man and woman were present at the house when they had an altercation. There was a considerable struggle, and then the woman let her pit bull loose on the man. The suspect is identified as 38-year-old Melissa D Wolke, and the victim is identified as 55-year-old Donald W Abner from Richmond.
The pit bull went to the man and started attacking him brutally. He was practically mauling the man. Pit bulls are considered a fierce dog and are used at times for protection purposes.
The Dog Was Persistent
Troopers responded and arrived at the home only to shoot the dog. They were unable to attend to the victim and had to remove the dog from the situation. The scenario must have been pretty daunting, and they had no other option to save the victim further and save themselves. The dog was very aggressive and looked like he was trained for it.
Not All Pit Bulls Are The Same
Not all pit bulls are fierce and dangerous. They have been typed condensed to a vision that pit bulls are not friendly. They are very friendly, just like another dog. The dog in this crime are highly trained for these purposes and can’t be associated with the whole breed. Melissa agreed to her involvement in the case. She admitted to going all “redneck.” The autopsy was done on Saturday, the next day. The reports from the State Medical Examiner’s office are awaited. Further trials for Melissa are dependent on them.
