U.S. Customs and Border Protection caught a woman smuggling a half-pound of meth from Mexico, hiding it in her “vaginal cavity.”
Smuggle Attempt Failed.!!
CBP agents on duty figured out the unusual discovery on Thursday, Texas, at the Paso Del Norte pedestrian border crossing in El Paso.
Officials reported a 32-year-old U.S. citizen, attempted smuggling. But she was suspected for selection of secondary exam when a drug-sniffing dog’s reaction prompted a body search. Moreover, The search concluded in discovering a cylindrical object partially concealed in her vaginal cavity. There were two additional bundles, discovered later. The packages, tested positive for methamphetamine, were confiscated.
Although, “A cylindrical object was discovered from the search, partially concealed in her vaginal cavity. Two additional bundles were also recovered later. The packages comprised of elements that tested positive for methamphetamine,” CBP said in a statement Friday.
The woman was handed over to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations. She will face charges associated with the failed smuggling effort. Authorities did not reveal the woman’s identity.

The authorities reported the seizure was one of 14 drug busts at ports of entry in West Texas, El Paso, and New Mexico over the last seven days. They seized almost 35.7 pounds of cocaine in two busts, 894 pounds of marijuana in 10 seizures, and 51.2 pounds of methamphetamine in a pair of seizures in a week.
However, El Paso, Director of Field Operations Hector Mancha, says, “Every drug load we stop helps keep our local community safe as well as those in America’s heartland.” The Anti-Drug and Narcotics Commission needs to make sure they regulate their laws and punishments need to be severe. This is a serious crime where the prolongation of this kind of drug in a neighborhood can be very dangerous. This could spoil a lot of lives, including students and other young adults, misled to a bad future.
