It’s been three long years since the once lovey-dovey pair separated, and they haven’t settled their divorce yet. Yes, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie still haven’t finalized the details of their divorce even though they’ve dragged it along quite some time now.
Why Are They Taking So Long?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had requested an extension to agree to a financial settlement in their divorce. In between all that, the pair discovered yet another large amount of money, which had to be split. This $400 million was separate from the settlement, so they did not agree to it.
So to civilly take care of things, Brad Pitt had filed documents to the Los Angeles County court. He requested an extension and for him and Jolie to continue their negotiations with a private judge from now on. Angelina Jolie also supported this idea, and the pair will be paying for the individual judge together.
Other matters need to be settled, including Miraval. Miraval was a winery in France that the pair had bought together way back in 2011. Their original plan was to pass the winery off to their six children, but it looks like that plan has been scrapped as of now.
How Are Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Holding Up?
After the pair separated, Brad was still entangled in a lot of rumors connecting him with various women. There was also a far fetched rumor that Brad Pitt had almost gotten back together with his ‘one true love’ Jennifer Aniston. The actor was later tied to holistic healer Sat Hari Khalsa; people believed that the two were dating.
As far as Angelina Jolie goes, there have no scandalous rumors of her with other men. Although, She seems to be still trying to find herself after splitting from Brad. She even admitted that she had lost herself a bit when she separated from Brad. She was hopeful that she would soon return to her roots and be herself again after this period of transition. So, it looks like Jolie will only consider a romantic relationship after the dust in her heart has settled.
