A 15-year-old school going boy was stabbed to death outside a McDonald’s outlet in east London.
Innocent schoolboys attacked
A 15-year-old boy lost his life in an attack that happened outside of McDonalds in East London. He was accompanied by another boy who suffered severe injuries in the attack. This attack has sparked the 116th murder investigation of the year in the capital city. The teenagers were attacked after getting off a bus. The bus had stopped close to the Stanford Shopping Centre.
The attack was witnessed by several shoppers around the area. Hey were horrified by the scene and didn’t make any effort to stop it.
Some friends of the victims rushed to help them but it was already too late. Members of the public also extended some help in performing first aid to the kids.
Police and doctors found the boy severely injured with several cuts on his body. Despite sincere efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead on the spot of the crime itself. His heart stopped beating at 3:49 p.m. outside the shopping center.
The police immediately notified his next of kin. The post mortem and formal identification of the boy are yet to take place.
Condition of the other victim
The other boy, aged 15was found with stab injuries as well. He was immediately taken to an East London hospital. His injuries are treatable and he has no threat to life. DCI Chris Soole, who is leading the investigation, said that it was a senseless attack. A murder investigation has been launched.
In an interview, he extended his sincere thoughts and condolences to the family of the victims. He expressed how disheartening it was to see the terrible loss the family had suffered. The boy had his whole life ahead of him and had everything to live for.
The DCI further branded the attack as senseless and alarming. He said that he would make sure they do everything in their power to catch the murderers and bring them to justice. He stated that the attack took place in a busy area and has extended an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
