Tekashi To Be Released Before Christmas
The rainbow-colored bad boy had another triumphant legal victory in court; the Manhattan judge moved up his sentencing date. The 23-year-old’s sentencing date was set to January 24, 2019. But his unsatisfied lawyers worked day and night and asked the court for an earlier time. It was granted. The date was preponed to December 18. Therefore, Tekashi, whose real name was Daniel Hernandez, could be released before Christmas.
It was previously reported that Tekashi denied the Witness protection program and instead opted for resuming his music career as he thinks that he would be more popular than ever after his release. However, his life would be more at stake than ever after his release. It is because he ditched his former gang members and testified against them.
The “FEFE” rapper Tekashi testified against the racketeering case of the most wanted gang members, Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermia “Nuke” Mack. He also identified Cardi B and Jim Jones as the former gang members of their group Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. But, Cardi B denied it in a tweet saying she was a member of Brim Bloods but not Gansta Bloods. The rapper also testified against Shotti, his former manager, for robbing a man at gunpoint. To prove this, he submitted a video shot by him in which Shotti was robbing the Rap-a-lot reps at gunpoint.
He has been charged for many crimes, including rape, drug trafficking, racketeering, robbing, etc.. The court has given him 47 years of imprisonment. But, he came to a deal with the court to reduce his damning numbers. Tekashi 6ix9ine decided to testify against the members of his former gang, Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. It seems like; he has succeeded in it. Regardless, he might have to face a mountain of legal fees and a massive target on his back as everyone is calling him a snitch.
