Democrat Mayor Fires Back at Trump For Accusing Him Of Trying To Sabotage A Campaign Event At Target Center.

The mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey has responded to the president. After accusing him of trying to sabotage a campaign event at the Target Centre in a press conference held on Tuesday.

Jacob Frey Fires Back at Donald Trump

Jacob Frey at a press conference held on Tuesday responded. To Donal Trump’s broadside over the city’s security bill for a rally at the Target canter. He said that he wakes up every morning without much time on his hands. Because he is doing things like filling potholes and making sure their city has enough affordable housing.

Frey added that he doesn’t have time with a city of 430,000 people. To be tweeting garbage out, so it’s surprising when the president of the United States. A country with 327 million people, has the time to do that himself, so he added that he wouldn’t know where Trump gets the time.

Donald Trump’s Accusations On Jacob Frey

Trump accused Jacob over the city’s $530,000 security. Bill for a rally at the Target centre as trump vows that the event will go forward. His campaign accused Frey of conjuring a phoney and outlandish bill of security at the rally. He stated that at a 2009 rally, Barack Obama has just spent $20,000 for the security bills at the Target Center.

To this discrepancy, Frey responded in the press conference saying that there are just significant differences between 2009 and 2019. The dispute erupted after the Trump campaign said that the city of Minneapolis presents a $530,000 bill for security costs to the operator of Target Center. The arena operator had sought to pass along to the campaign. Frey defended to this saying that it was reasonable and that he had a duty of taxpayers to ensure safety.
