Buckingham Palace announced the engagement of Princess Beatrice with a multi-millionaire property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. And the wedding will be in 2020.

When Did They Start Dating?

Sources say that Beatrice and Edoardo got together in Beatrice’s sister Eugenie’s wedding which was held in October last year. Both families have been friends for decades. Beatrice started introducing him to her friends as her boyfriend from November.

At that time, Edoardo is reportedly living with his ex-fiancée Dara Huang who is the mother of his three-year-old child. This happened after Beatrice broke up with his ten-year partner Uber exec David Clark in 2016. She then had a lavish beach wedding in Italy with Lynn Anderson. Beatrice is the granddaughter of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh’s. She is ninth in line to the throne. She is also a cousin of the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex.

Parents Prince Andrew and Fergie were very happy about their wedding and congratulated the new couple heartily.

The couple got engaged in Italy, in the weekend earlier this month. On the occasion of their announcement, Beatrice said, “We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to actually be married”.

The Viral Instagram Posts

Eugenie, Beatrice’s sister posted their engagement photos on her Instagram account. In the photo, Beatrice wore a green floral £595 Zimmerman dress showing off her 3.5-carat engagement ring. She also wore a £2,730 Cartier love bracelet.

Eugenie says that she is so happy for her dearest sister and that they are meant to be. She also says that she is so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and that she can’t wait for the marriage in 2020.
