A beautiful 20-year-old woman, Keeley Bunker, went for an Aitch gig never to return. After an extensive search was carried out, her lifeless body was recovered from Tamworth park. On Saturday, Police arrested a male suspect who is a year younger than the victim.
Went missing and was found dead
Keeley Bunker was a big fan of the Brit rapper Aitch. So, when Aitch decided to perform in Birmingham, Keeley was totally in for the concert. What she didn’t know was she won’t survive to share her experience. On her way home, she was last seen alive around Wigginton park.
Heartbroken as she was, Debbie Watkins, the mother, appealed publicly on Facebook for everybody to search her daughter. Friends alongside family members searched high and low. Finally, a relative spotted her in the park she was last seen around. Unfortunately, she wasn’t breathing.
Her last haunting tweet
Keeley was a music devotee. In her last tweet before losing her life, she had revealed she was bursting with excitement. In the ecstatic tweet, she had written:
“Only thing keeping me going is seeing Aitch on Wednesday, hopefully, he’ll see me and we’ll get married.”
A teary-eyed relative said the family was heartbroken and falling apart. “Keeley had just gone on a night out. She was so excited about seeing Aitch and nobody thought they would never see her again,” said the relative.
Cops got reported of the dead body and handcuffed a suspect
Staffordshire Police had been informed about a woman in the water near Edgar Close, Tamworth around 9 p.m. Police had immediately alerted the ambulance services. One of the ambulance servicemen revealed they had sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer along. “Sadly, it became apparent nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead at the scene,” said the official.
The reason behind her death remains concealed as a post-mortem is due to be carried out on Monday. The suspect was handcuffed on Thursday and remains in custody on suspicion of manslaughter. On Saturday morning, cops were allowed an additional 36-hour interrogation session with the accused. Wesley Streete was later revealed as the name of the defendant. He is due in court today morning.
