Shawn Mendes recently admitted the fact in a Q&A media conference that Billie Ellish still hasn’t replied to his messages. *awkward laughter followed * Here’s the whole story.
Who isn’t into Billie Eilish nowadays?
After the release of Billie’s super-hit song ‘Bad Guy‘, people are going crazy for her. And so did Shawn Mendes. He appreciated her work over social media and she also admitted receiving messages from Shawn but she chose not to respond. *Ouch!!* Have a look at the conversation.
How it all started?
Back in June 2018, “@billieeilish I think you are just really crazy talented and everybody who hasn’t listened to your music is seriously missing out.” Shawn wrote.
In April 2019, “Shawn Mendes texted me, but I didn’t respond“, Billie admitted.
Months later Shawn was asked if she responded yet, to which he said, “She never did” and he awkwardly laughed.
Who could ignore a message from Shawn Mendes, well Billie can!! The actual reason behind this has yet not been clearly stated by her, but Shawn is kinda heartbroken it seems.
Shawn Mendes Being left on ‘read’!
All of us have come across this super awkward situation of being left on ‘read’ with our text messages, and the same happened to our beloved Shawn Mendes. *tears*
Shawn has never been reluctant on showing his kind admiration for Billie and her music in public. Speaking of which, he admired her work over the social media in the hope of getting back some response as well. But sadly she didn’t.
We totally understand your situation, Shawn! We truly hope Billie has some real genuine reason behind not responding back to Shawn, maybe due to her crazy busy schedule or she may have lost his number. God knows.
However, She has been quite busy after the release of her debut album, ‘When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?‘
What’s next for Shawn Mendes?
Shawn, himself, has been too busy lately for his new album and hanging out with Camila Cabello. When a fan asked about his next tattoo, he said that he is planning onto getting the word ‘surrender‘ inked, which affirmatively means ‘letting-go and surrender to life exactly the way it is’.
